Niamh O Riordan and Malachy Harty are two Irish people who created the All About Africa project in 2005 and the All About America project a few years later. So what else is there to know about them? Well, the two are originally from Midleton in Co. Cork which is home to the famous Jameson Irish distillery. They originally met playing music with the Midleton Holy Rosary Brass and Reed Band. Niamh went on to complete her higher education at University College Cork, graduating with a PhD (2011), MBS (2004), HDip (2002) and BA (1998). Today she is a lecturer in Information Systems and Organisation at Smurfit Business School in Dublin, Ireland. Meanwhile, Malachy trained and worked as both a chef and professional photographer before completing a Bachelor’s degree in International Development and going on to work for various Irish Aid organisations both in Africa and the Middle East. |
